For someone who doesn’t really enjoy being photographed I had a great day and the resulting pictures are stunning. The team worked with me to find a date when all of my chaotic family could be present so that we could have a family portrait done – nothing was too much trouble. On the day we were made to feel relaxed and happy so the resulting pictures are real smiles and laughter not put on for the camera. Even our 4 yr old grandson had a good time and the photos of him are great. The viewing day was brilliant and the team helped us to choose the best photos without pressure but using their experience. I would highly recommend.

From the moment, I first made contact , Mark Palmer Photography provided a family friendly and professional experience. Our family are not known for being comfortable in front of camera and some of us , were extremely nervous about the whole thing.

My daughter was excited about being in front of the camera, but my son and I were apprehensive and we didn’t know how our two Cockapoos would react. We needn’t have worried, we all had a great time, in fact the session in itself gave us lots of fun memories to treasure and the photos… wow! Thanks guys!

Mark can work miracles with the camera (!!), Mardie a magician with the preview show and Robert a star at ensuring it all run smoothly through to collection of our photos. The whole process from booking through to collecting our wonderful photos was first class.

We arrived for our studio session with our three girls (who had fallen out on the way) and a crazy puppy. Within minutes of meeting Mark the girls were happy and chatting and our pup was at ease. Mark made the whole family feel comfortable and at ease – a difficult task when the parents hate having their photo taken. Mark indulged our girls who wanted costume changes and various moody poses, and was just brilliant with the whole family from start to finish.

When we arrived a couple of weeks later we met Robert who took as through the photos. The set up was fab in a cinema style room, and we felt relaxed and comfortable. The photos were all amazing and it was difficult to choose!

We were under no pressure and Robert was very helpful and relaxed, and didn’t rush us at all with our decisions.

When we collected by appointment the lady we dealt with was lovely and checked that we were happy with the framed photos, which looked amazing, before packaging them up for us.

The process from start to finish was first class and all done so whilst observing social distance and with adequate H&S measures in place (re COVID). We felt very safe and comfortable and would not hesitate in recommending Mark and the team.

Thank you for our wonderful photos, we are over the moon (and may well treat ourselves to some more soon – it was so hard to choose!). And I don’t usually like any photos with me in, so this is a first.

Thoroughly recommend these guys; we had our first portraits taken about 17 years ago. We couldn’t have been happier with the end products on both occasions – the atmosphere for the shoot was really relaxed, as we did feel self conscious before we went, but really enjoyed the whole experience. Absolutely amazing! Was made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. I was a bit apprehensive before going as my son mason has severe special needs but Mark took us into the studio and gave mason time to adjust to the surroundings and let things go at masons pace. We were lucky enough to receive a voucher for a Mark Palmer photo shoot, booking a convenient time and date was easy and all arranged in just 1 phone call.

When we arrived on the day of the shoot everything was in place to ensure we were made to feel safe and Covid secure.

Mark was very professional, he made us feel relaxed throughout and took some really great shots, as advised we took some props to use during the photo session which were a great addition.

A couple of weeks later we made a return visit to the studio to preview the photos he had taken. We were greeted by Robert who made it easy for us to choose the photos we wanted and gave us great advice on the different style options of frames, albums and collections that would work together. The photos we chose for our album are amazing and the framed portrait now takes pride of place in the living room.

We really enjoyed the whole experience and would highly recommend using Mark Palmer Photography for all your family photographic memories.

We have never used a professional photographer before (except for our wedding). What a great experience, the whole team were so friendly and professional. They made us all feel so comfortable, even our young granddaughter and our own 8 year old daughter. The end result was a fantastic set of pictures that we all just love.

We got a voucher after buying a car and to be honest, I didn’t think we’d use it. Having just been to collect the pictures today though, I can’t recommend this firm highly enough. The whole experience was relaxed, friendly and a pure delight. We now have some amazing photos of us with our two dogs and we will treasure them.
